Big support for small sites

A third of campsites viewed through SiteSeeker are Certificated Sites, proof that smaller sites are popular

Over one in three campsites viewed through The Camping and Caravanning Club's online booking service, SiteSeeker, are Certificated Sites (sites for five vans on places like farms and pub grounds) – proof that smaller sites are popular with campers. Visitors to the site viewed Certificated Sites over 135,000 times during the month of August.

Trevor Woodward, Chairman of The Camping and Caravanning Club's Sites Committee said, 'These figures show that Certificated Sites remain the site of choice for many of our members. SiteSeeker provides the perfect way to search for places and make the most of activities, attractions and places that inspire us to take holidays in our motorhomes.'

SiteSeeker allows you to search for sites against a list of criteria such as region, type and facilities and provides aerial views of the campsites and surrounding areas.
