Eurocamp Independent buys Select Sites. Villanova Park

Eurocamp Independent, the European camping holiday provider has acquired Select Sites Limited, an operator in the independent camping sector

Select Sites has a network of 170 campsites in 11 countries and following the acquisition the number of holiday destinations for the group will rise to over 190.

The buy-out also sees the number of European campsites owned by the Eurocamp Independent brand rise to more than 250.

The deal means Eurocamp Independent, which is part of Holidaybreak plc, will now operate Eurocamp Independent, Select Sites and Touring Cheque.

Select Sites, launched in 1986 will move to the Holidaybreak's offices in Cheshire. Founders Andrew and Bernadette Erskine will stay with the business and move operations to Cheshire also.
