George Hebden is pleased with his new VW Crafter

Only use with Webasto story

Webasto has made the gas-free motorhome possible through its range of diesel powered on board systems

The new features available for installation mean motorhomers can cook, heat, use hot water and cool their home without gas, as proven by one motorhomer.

One happy customer, George Hebden, asked EMC Motorhomes in Knottingley to fit the Dual Top diesel powered heating system, X100 diesel powered cooker and Webasto Night Cool fitted out to a 2.5 litre diesel-engined Volkswagen Crafter to enable him to travel Europe in comfort.

All in favour. I run a very small camper van and don't carry gas. Usually we depend on camp hook up facilities but with an all diesel arrangement life in the lay-by, where we usually lunch while travelling, would be much easier. Safety comes into question too. Gas is more dangerous than diesel as is proved by the number of boating accidents caused by leaking gas.
