Ordnance Survey Pod Cast
Great Britains National mapping service, Ordnance Survey has launched an online podcast to help people with map reading. The downloadable film features outdoors experts Chris Butler and Cathy Ward offering their navigation tips.
The pair advise on the perfect kit before setting off, how to read map symbols and explain how map scales work.
It is set in the New Forest National Park as the pair demonstrate how to explore the great outdoors by map.
The podcast has information for experienced ramblers and the casual walker.
