Network of French stop over sites expands

France Passion, the scheme which enables motorhomers to stay overnight for free on farms and vineyards across France, has added 300 new sites for 2008. Members do not have to pay or book in advance to stay.
Food lovers and wine enthusiasts can enjoy the local produce in the Midi Pyrenees and Loire Valley, or learn French style cooking in the Perigord.
Horse and donkey breeders, bee keepers and organic farmers are just some of the people offering their properties as an overnight pitch within the scheme.
Each farm or participating vineyard has signed a one year invitation to their property.
