Eurocamp Independent sites are ideally located for the Tour de France
This year the 95th Tour de France takes place between 5-27 July. Eurocamp Independent has a selection of sites which are well located along the cycling route.
La Ville Huchet, St Malo
Tour Stage- St Malo to Nantes, Monday 7 July
Catch the early stages of the tour whilst camping on a site set in the grounds of a 19th Century manor. The site is just 15 minutes from St Malo ferry terminal and conveniently has a bar, take-away and small shop.
Les Sablons, Portiragnes-Plage
Tour Stage- Lavelanet to Narbonne, Thursday 17, Narbonne to Nimes, Friday 18 July
Experience the 12th and 13th stages of the tour at a location just off the beach, only 1km from Portiragnes-Plages. This site also caters for those who are less interested in cycling with various on-site activities including an attractive swimming pool complex with two pools, a large sunbathing terrace and for the more adventurous there are exciting waterslides.
Domaine de Massereau, Sommières 'New This Season'
Tour Stage- Narbonne to Nimes, Friday 18 July, Nimes to Dignes-les-Bains, Saturday 19 July
This campsite is not only 25km from Nimes, the 13th and 14th stages of the tour, but it is allows campers to relax in its peaceful, leafy site. The four star site has high quality facilities as well as daily activities in the summer season.
Camping International, Paris
Tour Stage- Étampes to Paris Champs-Élysées (Finish) Sunday 27 July
The site is situated on an attractive island on the River Seine in Frances capital city. With the finish line of the 22 day tour just a 20 minutes train journey away, watch the strongest cyclists at the final stage of the tour compete along the Champs- Élysées for the Tour de France title.
