The Auto-Trail Owners Club had a rare guided tour round the Grimsby plant
This years annual Auto-Trail Owners Club Rally took place at the main Grimsby plant in April. Around 400 members of the Club took part in this enjoyable event, which incorporated a walk around the production facility.
The Club members were invited to view the latest Auto-Trail models and key suppliers, such as Lampas, Thetford, Sargents, Dometic, Labcraft, Amber plastics and RD plastics, displayed current and new components that have been used in their luxurious motorhomes.
Visitors were kept entertained by competitions, the sale of obsolete and current parts, a raffle, a hog roast and free refreshments. These events were key in making the already popular rally a roaring success.
Some 200 Auto-Trail motorhomes were parked at Market Rasen Racecourse for the weekend where they partied long into the night after the days main events had finished.
The rally managed to raise over £1100 for the Clubs nominated charity, St Andrews Childrens Hospice in Grimsby.
The Auto-Trail Owners Club would like to thank all who attended and were involved in the rally as it was not only a success for the hospital, but also an entertaining factory rally to be remembered.
