Johnnie Walker at the Auto-Trail factory with Joint MD David Thomas
Johnnie visited the NEC show in February and after a long day looking at all the latest British and European motorhomes on display, he finally came to the Auto-Trail display and fell in love with the Auto-Trail Cheyenne 630 LB.
The Cheyenne ticked all the boxes and soon he was placing his order with Chelston Motorhomes, at that time he also expressed a special interest in visiting the manufacturing plant at Europarc, Grimsby, to see how Auto-Trails were built.
He was delighted to learn that Auto-Trail offer factory visits to all existing and potential customers.
After a full factory tour, where he chatted and joked with many of the staff, he met up with Joint MD, David Thomas.
Johnnie did not let his special day slip by without expressing numerous thank yous on his Radio 2 breakfast show, where he has been standing in for Terry Wogan.
Johnnie’s new vehicle is on schedule for delivery in late May and then plans to tour Europe in early June.
