Romahome has moulded its first body for the R25, which will be launched this autumn. Brian Bailey, Managing director at the company’s Isle of Wight plant, said the model would be based on Citroen’s new Berlingo.
“We have vast experience of building compact motorhomes on Citroen base vehicles but we have also taken notice of feedback from existing and potential new customers in creating R25,” he said.
“The new model will have more internal space than R20 but not with the penalty of a big rise in external dimensions. We have also been innovative in our galley and toilet / shower designs as well as creating valuable extra storage."
The R25 will be unveiled in full at the NEC in Birmingham in October.
